i spoke exclusively to kayleigh's mother. sarah didn't do it. sarah krueger and her boyfriend, ryan warner are both behind bars in connection to the crime. i asked kayleigh's grandmother about the suitcase in the freezer, as tears trickled down, she said quote, my daughter didn't do that, off quote. as we continued the conversation off camera, she referred to sarah saying quote, she couldn't have done that. she loved her daughter. i asked if sarah and her boyfriend ryan had had any recent problems. kayleigh's grandmother told me she didn't know of any, but she does believe her daughter was too scared to tell her what was going on. i asked her about her daughter's boyfriend ryan warner, who is also behind bars in connection to the crime, she says she didn't know him very well, but also described him as a scary guy and a quote, monster. kayleigh's grandmother says she doesn't know what happened in that apartment last week but continues to tell me that sarah didn't do it. and now here, you can see the candles still lit up at the memorial site, in m

police say, little kayleigh was beaten to death. and that her mother, sara krueger and boyfriend, ryan warner, are responsible. but court documents say. the couple told police, they found the child dead by unknown circumstances. and instead of reporting it. the couple told police, they stored the body in a suitcase for three -days. and then placed the body in a freezer. police eventually found the dead child in her bed last saturday. the district attorney says he can only seek the death penalty if the investigation reveals a special circumstance. such as sexual assault. neighbors at the apartment complex where kayleigh lived are still coming to grips with what happened to the little girl. the makeshift memorial that was created in her memory continues to grow. as you can see in this video. many have notes, stuffed animals and candles. those we talked to say they still can't wrap their heads around what happened. kayleigh's mother and her mother's boyfriend willl be arraigned and possibly enter pleas on february 25th. and stay with k
