in san jose, kris sanchez, "today in the bay." >> kris, thank you. >>> 6:39 for you right now.'s get a look at the forecast for you today. kari, how is it looking out there? >>> we did have some rain over the weekend. now that rain is moving out but the clouds are still left behind. we're starting out with a live look outside at walnut creek where you can see it's about 15 minutes away from sun rise, and it's still mostly cloudy. we'll see the sun just peeking out from behind the clouds today, but the rain stays away. and it will be slightly warmer as we reach into the low 60s for this afternoon. but in the north bay there will still be a chance of showers as the new storm system approaches, it continues to weaken so we're not looking at a lot of rain out of this and that's where we will have some slightly cooler temperatures reaching into the upper 50s in santa rosa while san jose will reach 65 degrees with a little bit more sunshine. i'll continue to track that. we'll talk more about how much rain we could see in the north bay today. that's coming up. mike giving us a look at
