meteorologist krystal klei is tracking a little bit of a hiccoup to start our weekend. krystal? >> but overall, a pretty good weekend forecast. what we're looking at right now is the hiccoup rosemary is talking about. this is the rain that's passing through. look out the window this morning and you think, my weekend's ruined again? are you serious? but it's not. it's not going to be ruined. right now the rain is passing and we see pockets of heavier rain near the lehigh valley, now stretching that rain into philadelphia and into camden county. but it won't last your whole day. about the first half of your day. let's take a closer look at where the rain is a little steadier. and now creeping on into parts of upper bucks county, as well. once we get down into the lower suburbs and into philadelphia, it's a light rain right now, but the steadier stuff is heading our direction and this will be spreading into south jersey and parts of delaware, as well. temperature wise, you can tell when the rain clears, because the temperature bumps on up. we've got 60s this morning. you might want

meteorologist krystal klei is tracking our weekend weather for us. krystal? >> reporter: hey, rosemary. this is a pretty good weekend forecast. we start with a little bump in the road and then it's the smooth sailing. here's our radar and satellite view. this is the obvious bump in the road. the rain that's now starting to move our way. it's starting to pass through parts of lehigh valley, berks county, and now into parts of suburbs, montgomery county, chester county, upper bucks county, almost into the delco, as well. what's happening here, a light green to a deeper green. these showers could move through briefly with a heavier period, you can see that into parts of the lehigh valley. areas like south jersey and delaware, mostly in the clear, still. take a closer look at the heavier pockets. that's not going to fall apart in time, so it will pass through philadelphia into parts of jersey, as well. temperature wise right now, not bad. we're at 47 in millville. notably warmer at 59 in philadelphia. and 50 in pottstown. these temperatures, again, won't rise a t

krystal clei is with you. where are the storms right now?e good news is the heaviest stuff has started to move out. slight i delaware, and let's look at where that line is moving. you see the oranges, the reds, the yellows, really a perfect line that's up against where this cold front is. there's a difference, now in the upper 60s around 70 north, a huge difference. it's powerful. a closer look in and out of philadelphia. are see it's country of like gloucester township. and trenting as well. as you go into the suburbs. it's still rain falling, just not nearly as heavy as the focused line is. so let's track some of this out. where will it be next? pemberton, nearly 6:00 in winslow, jackson, lakewood as well. this is moving quite quickly, about 45 miles per hour to the east. wee go far south. this is a long stretch of line, it seems on going down to the southwest of delaware, look at the lightning, 422 strikes just in this box. that's heading our way all the way to the southernmost parts of delaware. if we tike this out. areas around dover, c

krystal klei has been keeping us posted on this all morning long. krystal, fill us in on the latest. >> the good news is that the first alert lites lifts in the next hour because the line has moved offshore. left behind likely washed out roadways and certainly downed trees that may be blocking driveways. so that is why we're leaving it in effect just to remind you that if you get out early today, take it slow because there may be hazards out there that you don't typically expect to see. but otherwise our first alert radar shows a much better picture now, just scattered clouds in place and now we're seeing the sunshine break through across the area. take a look at some of the damage reports that are coming in. currently still coming in as we speak across the area. really looking over parts of gloucester, camden, burlington county. downed trees or power lines in the area. and you can see it tracks into mercer, as well. those are the areas that were at one points under tornado warnings because of the strong winds and heavy rain that was tracking throug

krystal klei has those details for us. >> this is looking like a nice forecast for us. you can see now on our radar and satellite view, really just scattered clouds. no rain for us across the entire area. a very different picture than yesterday. yesterday, we had that line of powerful storms roll through our area that left damage through parts of new jersey and delaware and two tornadoes were confirmed. you can see the deep red return on radar from the moment it happened at 7:21 over a home depot parking lot area near route 9. this was considered an ef-0 tornado, which is the lowest level of tornado but still causes damage regardless. a second tornado also near howell township, very close by, also an ef-0 tornado. this one causing damage near oak glen park. both were fairly short lived but they left results. now, much better conditions. already warming up as well. sufficient in philadelphia and 77 in wilmington. 72 in allentown, and already near 80 in atlantic city. at the marina, done to 73 degrees. coming up, going to talk more about the temperatures as they continue

krystal klei, it's coming. >> it is coming. a nice, steady line of rain.ockets of heavy rain within the line. that's the oranges, yellows, and reds, a downpour going on. it's moved out of the lehigh valley, berks county for most part, still clipping the southern edge. it's moving steadily throughout the suburbs. as we've been talking about, this isn't moving terribly fast, but speedy enough that it will affect the commute through the i-95 corridor into south jersey. looking at the neighborhoods, doylestown just starting to get some of the heavier stuff. pennsburg getting the end of it. it's about to head into westchester, as well. delaware county, philadelphia, and mercer county up next for the rain in the next hour or so. already there's drizzle across the area. and it seems like that because of the fog that's low hanging you've got the moisture in the air. we've also got the hour-by-hour forecast. i want to go through it again in case you missed it a second ago. this line of storms by i think 5:30 to 6:00 will be moving into the i-95 corridor. we go from

"just left hospital, representative steve scalise, one of the truly great people is in very tough shape but he is a real fighter. pray for steve." now the president tweeting that out, jim a here. i just want to make sure we clarify it and make this crystal clear. we are being given a report by the white house pool, he did go into congressman scalise's room. he sat next to the bed and spoke with the family. we don't have exact information as to how long that lasted and what transpired once he was inside the room. but it sounds like he was very close to the congressman there during this visit to the hospital. and so i think -- i guess the best thing -- the prudent thing to do at this point is to wait for further details to come in but we're being told at this point that he did go into congressman scalise's room. so that's the latest information on that. the white house, don, is also putting out a statement about the president wanting to go to the congressional baseball game tomorrow nig
