so the l.a. animal centers have space for all those incoming pets. we need people to adopt the animals that we've got up here so that we can go down and take some more in stages from la, and to help people with that, we actually just launched a free puppy promotion, so that's helping move a lot of puppies really quickly, giving us space to bring in more animals. to prepare for the influx, the san francisco spca launched a free puppy adoption promotion that led to 71 animals finding homes this past weekend alone. the east bay spca also brought back ten dogs from la and is waiving all adoption fees through sunday. the san francisco shelter already scheduled a second transport mission for next week in case the la shelters need more support. and they're asking people if you'd like to help out to please adopt if you can, or foster perhaps a dog for a little while. that would be a huge help and make more space so they can have more animals coming in from la. and if that's not in the cards, then you can always donate as well. at moffett field, ian cull nbc
