in that particular region, where we now have a flash flood warning in effect between needles and lake havasu city. very strong thunderstorms moving there. those continue from flagstaff all the way toward kingman all pushing down slowly to the east southeast. talking about very heavy rainfall totals. some location south of kingman saw an inch and a half of rain. shows you how strong thunderstorms are. payson starting to see activity moving to our region. thunderstorms to the north of black canyon city, zooming further you notice that line coming out of those storms stretches from south of cave creek all the way to wickenburg. those are strong winds dropping into the valley. we could easily see 30-35 mile- per-hour winds as this moves through the entire valley. isolated areas of blowing dust as well. use caution if you are planning to travel in the next 30 minutes or so. always want to see moisture toward our south moving into the valley. look at the flow coming from the west straight into the east, completely a different situation than we normally see. as these rotate in we will see increased
