one area that it did expand in is parts of larimer county. parts of the high country are already under this. the big area under this drought in to the abnormally dry area is all of the eastern plains. northeastern plains are now the d-1 area has expanded in to parts of weld county and larimer county. all the way down in to parts of douglas county as well. the drought has expanded a bit. we do have dry weather continuing for the next several days. we're not going to get any moisture to help us out with this. the moderate area, that's also almost doubled from last week as well. our dry conditions and warm temperatures certainly aren't going to improve any time soon and actually record breaking today. >> that's right with all that dry weather and temperatures like this, does not situation. 83 degrees, the old record was 80 set back in 1959. 83 downtown. yes, a record high today after starts in the mid 40s. from our weather watchers, 79 in peetz. 84 in arvada. 80 and 81 right now. southwest wind at 13. dry with 9% humidity and a falling barometer
