meteorologist lauren casey is on the cbs-3 sky deck with the first look at the forecast, lauren. >> thanksguess contact we have a double dose of sunshine and double dose of november warmth in the last few days. high temperature coming off in terror territory, and we are still very mild at this hour. 57 degrees is your current temperature in philadelphia 56 down the shore. 52 degrees in the poconos. the southeasterly wind on the lighter side, continue to drive-in some of that warmth. quiet conditions right now across the delaware valley say for a few passing clouds but up winds, more cloud cover and showers starting to work into parts of the western pennsylvania and in association with the weather system that will impact us, as we head into this weekend but what is in store for tomorrow? another round of 60-degree high temperatures, well above average but cooler on the back side of the cold front by sunday and a we have several rain chances in the forecast which do start tomorrow. we will talk about that rain threat in your full forecast in just a couple minutes. >> all right, lauren we wil

let's get over to lauren casey in weather center with first look at the forecast. >>> we were dealing with clouds stream mink in throughout the day. on storm scan 3 over the last couple of hours. a a little bit of think in that cloud with breaks in the clouds over the last couple of hours. temperatures today much more mild. 24 hour temperature change in the positive all of our reporting sites. 6 degrees warmer warmer in philadelphia than this time yesterday. 10 degrees warmer in millville. 11 degrees warmer right now in allentown. temperatures we climbed into 60. in upper 50s yesterday. still at 63 degrees in philadelphia even though the sunset about an hour and a half ago. 58 degrees in allentown. 61 in ac, 61 in millville. first forecast temperatures staying fairly study especially for the first half of the evening. still high clouds kind of dense at times. and then think out at times. becoming partly cloudy as we get closer to midnight that will allow temperatures to cool back down into the 50. then we are going to warm things up as we head into tomorrow a lot more as we head into

meteorologist lauren casey is in the cbs3 weather center. she's got the answer. >> thanks, natasha. we did have cool temperatures today but with all that sunshine didn't feel too bad for a late november day. storm scan scan three showing us a trend for increasing cloud cover across the delaware valley. as we will have a cold front approach and move through overnight that could generate an isolated shower. temperatures right now 49 degrees in philadelphia. we're in the low 50's down the shore, calm winds, poconos chilly of course 39 degrees with that southeasterly wind at around 10 miles an hour. as we head into sunday it is going to be a blustery day. cold front moved through tonight then the cooler air starts building in on the backside. also elevated wind speeds throughout the day. then arctic air, the bulk of it really arrives on monday. that will be our coldest day of the season by far. but looks like we could have a big turn around as we head into thanksgiving thursday with some unseasonably mild temperatures. we'll talk about what to expect there. some good weather news coming

> the injured trooper is patrick casey, he's a six-year veteran of the state police, in good spirits and even joking with city leaders and his family. >> nbc 10's lauren mayk spent the day outside the hospital. what's the latest on the trooper's condition right now? >> reporter: the trooper, trooper casey, is doing well tonight. this is described as a flesh wound to the shoulder. the bullet is still in there and expected to stay there for now. he's had plenty of company here today from the fiance, and, of , his fellow troopers. immediately they came to the hospital, colleagues and officials visiting the wounded trooper. philadelphia d.a. seth williams says he rushed over when he heard. >> went upstairs and met with the trooper and he was in good spirits, he was joking, nurse was talking to him. >> reporter: the trooper is 31-year-old patrick r. casey. he's from bucks county, a 2009 academy graduate assigned to troop k. this morning state police tell us he took fire from a fleeing suspect when he worked backup to a traffic stop. >> the suspect got out of his car, was firing continually at trooper casey, at which time he was returning fire from his stre

not involving trooper casey by the way but one trooper training another, they pulled the call over for expired license plates. the trooper in training coincidentally, chris, lauren, ended up being the one who pick up trooper casey and returned him to the hospital. what a day in training he had. i'm sure he learned a lot they'll never forget. >> absolutely. >> oh, that's an understatement. steve, thank you. >> new this morning, one man is dead after deadly police involved shooting in camden city. >> this happened just after 7:00 last night 3200 block of rutledge walk now, officers responded to domestic dispute call, when they arrived, gunshots were exchange dollars between a man and the officers. the shooter was taken to cooper university hospital where he later died. the officers are on administrative leave pending full investigation. >> authorities in massachusetts issued warrant foreman they say killed a new jersey woman. investigators say, that man left her burning body along the side of some railroad tracks. she was gagged and tied up. now, police say, fernando owens killed 29 year old ashley board nerve paulsboro earlier this month, in bridgewater, massachu
