kitty logan is live in logan. kitty, what more have investigators learned from the second black box? >> well, that second black box was only just recovered yesterday. it was buried so deep in the wreckage that it was quite badly damaged. you can see from the image it's was burned in the crash. but crucially french investigators have been able to analyze new data, important technical information, about the flight path ever the plane and the investigators say that this information shows that the pilot deliberately set the plane to de descend to 100 feet and then increased the speed several times during the final minutes of that flight. investigators say the plane was going so fast it smashed into the mountain at 430 miles an hour. as you can imagine, gretchen, that might explain why there was so little of the plane left intact. this is way above the normal speed of descent. of course, this information is simply adding further weight to the evidence that the pilot an lace lubitz deliberately crashed that plane killin
