lonnie quinn is here with the volcano's impact. good morning. >> good morning, everybody.ey is to figure out what's going on underneath mt. agung. since its last eruption in 1963, molten rock has been building up. it generates a lot of heat which generates a lot of pressure. it pushed it into the main vent of the volcano and the eruption will happen when the pressure gets so great it's forced to blow out of the top of the volcano, and a little of two months ago, the threat level of the eruption was raised and more than 100,000 people have been evacuated. number one, big increase in earthquakes around the volcano, and number two, the sides have gotted is big they're starting to bulge. besides lava, a huge threat will be flow. that's a mixture of steam and ash and rock and searing gust and what makes it so dinchsing it moves a heck of a lot faster than lava. 450 miles an hour down the side of the volcano. they go for miles. the last one stretched eight miles from the crater. the last time it interrupted the aerosols dropped global temperatures by half a degree. even though w
