lorraine blanco just found out the recovery operations of that found body in bodega bay will get underway very soon. lorraine? >> reporter: yeah. i just got off the phone with the sheriff's office and they don't have an exact time yet. but they say it will be very soon. the sheriff is up on the cliff. he has a k-9 with him. investigators don't have a lot of information to share with us right now. they do know that it's a man's body lodged in some rocks right over that cliff. a couple of people discovered the body while they were checking out the view last night around 7:00. several responded to the call, including the fire department, the sonoma county sheriff's department and park police. we're about 50 miles northwest of petaluma. this is a pretty rocky area. it's dark at night. that's the reason authorities did not remove the body last night. it would have been too difficult and dangerous. as soon as they can get to the body safely, they will work on identity the man and how the man ended up here. the chopper 2 is in the air as we speak and we'll get you better video as it becomes avai
