let's go now to nbc 10's jesse gary is mayfair with an update. jesse? >> reporter: chris, crime scene detectives as well as homicide detectives and 15th police district officers all on the scene here, still investigating how a traffic stop turned into a police-involved shooting in which the suspect was shot in the head and killed. his body's been taken to the medical examiner's office right now. investigators are combing the scene still. they've moved from the white dodge charger, which you see in this video. they are now searching some surrounding businesses. i'm told that there are surveillance cameras here, and investigators are hopeful that will provide more information as to what happened and how this escalated into an officer-involved shooting. there have been 26 officer-involved shootings in the city of philadelphia this year a year. in four of those, the suspect has died. philadelphia last year had 43 with 11 of those shootings being fatal. so, the numbers have been coming down. and you'll remember, back in 2012, commissioner ramsey asked the ju
