kpix 5's maria medina is live at the scene where the blaze was just contained. maria. >> reporter: and michelle, we learned just a few minutes ago from firefighters they are calling this fire suspicious. they suspect that it might be fireworks but the fire still is under investigation. they left the scene not too long ago waiting for the sun to come up to make sure that this fire was out. but here is what they were dealing with just a couple of hours ago. here's video of those flames. the challenge was they have no idea where this fire exactly was. they got calls just before 3 a.m. about smoke and flames. but it wasn't until they were up here that they actually found the fire. the good news, the fire was slow-moving, weather conditions were in their favor but it was moving downhill towards alum rock valley park where there are a lot of homes. here's what firefighters had to say. >> it's fully contained with a line around it. we are just hitting hot spots working on an overhaul plan and then i would just remind people it's hot and dry, even at night, fire risk is
