megan: we all know about the wildfires in napa.d it so many people's homes, and destroyed an immense amount of vineyard acreage, and what this story really focuses on is how a particular vineyard, it a boutique wine producer which makes about 10,000 barrels a year, actually managed to save what so many other vineyards lost. they used this technology called -- i wrote it down, because the nickname is felix, but it is fermentation intelligence logic control system. in the absence of workers, it would check on the grapes and the wine, this automated system actually did it for them and was able to save them from wildfires. julia: it has been online since 2014 but it had never run on its own. even when this thing was operating, they weren't sure if it would ultimately save the wine and operate the tanks successfully. megan: absolutely, and as you know happens with wine, if you get one little thing wrong, the entire thing is spoiled. what is fascinating is they invested millions in this system. they are a small producer, but he has a tec

megan mcgrath is live there where cohen's funeral will be held. megan? >> reporter: good morning. just a tragic accident that took the lives of these two men had dedicated their careers and lives to helping and protecting others. later today, their family and friends will say a final farewell. lieutenant sander cohen was a deputy fire marshal here in maryland. the governor will actually speak at his funeral at benay israel later today. he stopped to help a motorist who had crashed. he was on the side of the road when he was struck and killed by a passing car. lieutenant cohen was not only a fire marshal, he worked as a ro rockville volunteer fireman. he was a colleague from that fire station that responded to the crash and gave cpr. now, the crash that cohen stopped for involved fbi special agent carlos wolff. wolff was standing with cohen on the side of the road. he was also struck and killed. wolff is survived by his wife and two children. his family says he loved serving his country as part of the he was just 36 years old. now, lieutenant cohen's funeral is at 11:00 a.m. this m

news 4's megan fitzgerald is live. megan, what do we know about this case so far?of new things. you know, that's the exact same question that a lot of these parents had when they came here and packed the auditorium. they were angry because they say that the ceo of prince gorges county public schools dr. kevin maxwell knew that there were problems within the school district for a year before that audit went underway and still they say he did nothing about it. so they came to this meeting demanding answers and wanting to know why. night maxwell told parents he didn't know that nothing was done to fix those grading issues in the county. he took several questions from the audience. many parents saying his lack of oversight is unacceptable. so keep in mind here the state audit found that more than 5,000 students graduated last year that didn't meet graduation rekwooirmgr requiremen requirements. it shows that the prince gorges black county policy monitoring, teachers did not follow grading policies. there's poor recordkeeping and irregularity with grading changes. dr. k
