melissa. >>> it looks like that problem outer loop ramp is clearing up. we'll have more on that in a few minutes. brand new crash, pennsylvania avenue at walters lane. that is slowing things down. >>> 14 before the hour now. this morning, there are still questions about what happened that caused a money to die while in police custody in baltimore. investigators released a timeline of the events there. nbc tom costello joining us live in baltimore. good morning. >> reporter: a couple of headlines. first of all, those six officers who were involved in this snen have all been suspended with pay pending the outcome of this investigation. also a headline that came out yesterday is that police concede now that this suspect, 25-year-old freddie gray asked repeatedly for medical help. he asked for an inhaler. he also asked for medical help. but police waited nearly 40 minutes until calling paramedic. by the time they arrive he was in acute distress. they rushed him to shock trauma. he underwent emergency surgery. it appears he had a nearly severed spinal cord and crush vertebrae. as you know he died a week later, two days ago on sunday and now the focus on
