thanks, mike. towns to our north and humboldt county are assessing damage from several big earthquakes, including that 7.0 that hit offshore and triggered a tsunami warning across the bay area yesterday. now, the massive earthquake was centered off the coast. this is near ferndale just before 11:00 and several aftershocks rattled towns. now that aftermath was immediate and redway water sprayed from the ceiling sprinkler system, the lights and sprinklers look everything in the shop. smart lost power there, forcing that grocery store to close. i got here at 12 and it was just a mess. the floors were just really, really wet. we had about almost an inch of water in here and over at the garberville smoke shop, workers there swept up those items, shattered on the floor and just outside rio del blue slide road, cracked open. look at that lane, now closed with cones. officials say that there was not a lot of apparent structural damage on buildings or homes, and there were no immediate reports of anyone bei

thanks a lot, mike.e working to make progress when it comes to restoring power across the bay area. as of last night, the utility was reporting about 3500 outages. that's down from about 17,000 outages just 24 hours ago. now here's a live look at pg&e. s outage map. you can see most of the outages are concentrated on the west side of the bay. the lack of any orange dots also suggests none of those outages is large scale at this time. a yellow dot indicates anywhere from 50 to 500 customers impacted. 534 on your monday morning, the man accused in the mass shooting in half moon bay is due back in court this week. the judge expected to set a date for suni lee jury trial. pretrial takes place tomorrow morning in redwood city. zhao has been in custody since his arrest in january of 2023 after the shootings, which killed seven farm workers and injured another at a mushroom factory. zhao has pleaded not guilty despite confessing to the shooting during a jailhouse interview with our nbc bay area's janelle wang.

mike? >> all right.h. >>> diana, a bit of a tricky period for housing data of all sorts. what are the latest price numbers telling us? >> yeah. tricky to say the least, mike. the much watched s&p case-shiller national home price index hit its 17th consecutive all-time high in october according to the report out today. the gain was 3.6%, down from the 3.9% annual return in september, so prices are still higher than they were a year ago but the comparisons are shrinking little by little. prices are, of course, not expected to go negative nationally next year due to still low supply and high demand. supply is much higher than it was a year ago but much of that is because homes are sitting on the market going, quote, stale according to a report from redfin this week. this is for existing homes. i want to take a look at stocks like zillow and compass that outperformed despite changes in rules for real estate agents as did home improvement retailers like home depot and lowe's and jim cramer named h.d. his favo
