right now, if you've got to get out that front door, the man who knows what could sloe you down, mike inouyehing for sure you'll slow down at the bay bridge toll plaza. we are looking at lighter than normal value, all we look over at the toll plaza, left approach has been lighter than the rest. we'll show you the approach. the east shore freeway, even though the bay -- the east shore freeway slows. maybe some debris right around university for west 80, that is gumming things up. that is your slowest spot really for the bay as we zoom out, we're showing you no major issues other than that, eastbound highway 4, and reports that they are blocking a couple lanes because of a crash there, a look at the tri-valley, nothing dramatic. the south bay northbound 101 and 87 slowing towards san jose, a typical pattern. we'll look at palo alto, and a note, folks for highway 1 just north of half moon bay, an arier crash, so they've had to close highway 1 right at the scene, but i believe you can get by in the residential area. >> so it could be live wires. >> there could be live wires. avoid the area and i

let's get to mike inouye. this has been a problem for nearly 90 minutes. now you know what the reason is. >> there were delays throughout the morning but yeah really bad now. this is from our chopper. over the lines between oakland and richmond. we see some movement. what happened was, unlike a few weeks ago when there was damage to the tracks b.a.r.t. tells us it's a component on the side of the tracks that feeds information to the computers. thus a lot of people heard about a computer problem for the system. one of the components trackside was damaged. a crew is on scene, hoping to have it fixed in ten minutes or so. we'll get you updates if there are any. so far, right now, an equipment problem on the tracks near the 12th street station where almost all the trains focus and head to and from san francisco. that's resulted in trackwide delays. service is suspended on the richmond line to mill braybrae. that's the red line. green line service suspended between bay fair and fremont in the east bay on the daly/sf city trains. red line take the fremont and tr

here's mike inouye. >> i think i have to get a mask. my son is not doing well this season.e maps. doing already for your morning commute. bottom of your screen, northbound 880, dlr reports of ladder in lanes. count er commute for most folks. meanwhile, northbound, this is for 680 through fremont. looking at another one, this is a crash right just past the mission off-ramp. the mission north one there as you're traveling past the washington district. travel flows smoothly but the crash is in the center divide. visible in the southbound commute likely and it will be a factor if it doesn't clear in the next few minutes. meanwhile, coming down into fremont for your commute southbound for 680 and for 880. we see a pretty typical pattern off of 580 through this area. we almost always see this slowing. here and the build continues over across the bay as well. as we look at 880 toward the san mateo bridge, west 92 toward the peninsula side and live look at our camera from the toll plaza and this is a very light volume of traffic for almost 6:36 in the morning. no slowing from 101 t

right now, your drive with mike inouye. >> tri-valley. the biggest volume of traffic is coming through west 580 to south 680. general push from everybody outside of the greater bay area coming here in toward the tri-valley. this is a standard pattern here. we will look at the new crash, the one i told you about north 680 through san ramon. around crook canyon road. vehicle stuck in the middle of the roadway. now it sounds like chp thought they could get it cleared quickly be we do see that slowing developing toward san ram ramon. reported to the scene but north you're okay in toward that walnut creek interchange. earlier crash over highway 4, it's on the shoulder. you have your typical build antioch and concord. another fender bender on through richmond. may be spectator slowing now. and toward the racetrack. the bay bridge toll plaza you have the most backup there on that portion of the bay. look at this spot. san rafael, at speed for the sensors. live look will show you things are moving nicely. sun is coming up. headlights are still on
