mitchell is a very talented man. so he began writing poetry early on just about as silent as conditions about how how small the bed was. he's on a very short bed. six feet long, two feet wide. that really touched me about how hard it was to rest when you're that arch in your own small bed. it's about getting the back of cookies on the weekend, how important it was. his poetry was very primitive, but very touching. when we wrote the book, we put the poems in the book just as he wrote them and we tried to put them in about the time he wrote them and they meant a lot to us. we kept his letters of coors and sister lynn in made a point to keep all of his poems and eventually have them printed and bound in a very informal way to keep them all together. when we wrote the book we went back and looked at those poems and try to pull out the best ones that showed mitch as he was and what he was thinking at the time. >> host: in 1983 we supporter of capital punishment? >> guest: this system in and 83 bert and i differ on a littl

reporting in waukesha im jp cbs 58 the future of the iconic mitchell park domes is now in the hands of a new task force. it was formed by the milwaukee county board of supervisors. they'll have their first meeting tonight to decide how the domes should move forward. cbs 58's amanda porterfield joins us live from the domes today is the first time a task force will meet about the mitchell park domes. the first step to deciding the future of these iconic milwaukee structures. the domes closed earlier this year afterthey have been a staple in the city since the 1930's. but they closed in february because the concrete on the domes is weak..and has been crumbling off and falling concerned about visitor safety. they opened up one at a time this fall after the county put up netting to catch any pieces of concrete. just a temporary solution. the county has about a million and a half dollars for repair..but it will cost 45 milllion dollars for a full about 45 milllion but it will cost repair..a half dollars for about a million and the county has solution. just a temporary of concrete. catch any
