jefferson county school district alerted parents that this man, lucas young, once her chhldren's gym teacher arrested for what police say three counts of child exploitation. >> my 7-year-old was sad. of mr. young. and is still -- in a shock. she doesn't quite understand what is going on. >> reporter: in this 50-page incident report police say the investigation started back in december when young himself first claimed through a tip he provided police that child porn images popped up on his computer, but further investigation revealed young had images on his personal e- mail ann his district-issued laptop. we knocked on his door in lafayette, he didn't answer but this man did. >> no comment. >> reporter: during the investigation back in december the district placed young on administrative leave without notifying parents of the ongoing investigation. and even though the district couldn't legally do so, stella peterson wishes the school would have communicated something to the children. >> there ssould be discussions about, what is appropriate, what is not. >> reporter: we also learned that young was a swim teacher at the lafayette recreation the investigation was going on, they stopped him
