breaking overnight - a new york state trooper shot and killed. and state police say the suspect is a u-s army soldier. this all happened in the town of theresa near the canadian border. state police say the trooper was responding to a domestic dispute when the suspect opened fire. a woman as also found dead at the scene. the suspect was taken into custody. right now we know he is an active duty soldier stationed at new york's fort drum. it's back to work for congress this morning after a week long break. the senate, returns today, and the house tomorrow. the number one focus: republican efforts to repeal and replace the affordable care act. but it's been a difficult fight for the g-o-p... and now, even those within the president's party are doubting the chance of success. lawmakers will also begin discussion on a budget deal. if they don't reach an agreement before september, we could be facing another government shutdown. the district's funding is also tied up in that budget. the house's appropriations bill - as it stands - would repeal d-c's bu
