"eyewitness news" reporter nicole brewer has more on this diverted plane nicole, good morning. >> reporter: good morning. the got news is in all this 75 people on board did make it off safely after that emergency landing. the as you can imagine a scary situation here. this is the scene at united express flight, flying from raleigh-durham north carolina a to newark new jersey with forced to stop down here in philadelphia after reported engine fire. call came in 4:00 p.m. tuesday and shortly after you can see emergency crews surrounding the plane on the tarmac. there were no injuries on board but one passenger with the history of heart conditions was taken to the hospital. passengers say aside from some nerves it was pretty calm on the plane. >> it dropped pretty quickly. then the pilot rhea shourd us and i could see the engine on the other side. we came down pretty smoothly. >> "eyewitness news" has learned that the plane which was brought off the the runway had made two previous emergency landings, both were in 2013. there were some backups associated with the emergency landing but by 5:00

"eyewitness news" reporter nicole brewer joins us from the studio with the very latest on the investigation ongoing, nicole. >> good morning ukee and erika. shortly after after that was launched a rally was held in protest of the 25 year-old's death and demonstrators are demanding answers. on tuesday gray's family marched alongside community leaders and supporters, beginning at the site the where gray was arrested on april 12th. that is where police say gray and another man ran away when officers approached them. video obtain by cbs's baltimore station shows him being carried into a van and then removed and shack will. it was a 30 minute ride to the station and at the end gray was rush to the hospital. one week later he died of significant spinal injury. police say they don't know what happened but some are calling it murder. >>> i want murder for all six of them because there was in history or record of him having any spinal injuries all six police officers cannot say what happened, the mayor has acknowledged in the press he called for immediate medical attention and nobody gave it to him.

"eyewitness news" reporter nicole brewer joins us from the studio with that video and next step as officials move forward with this case, nicole. >> that cell phone video is difficult to watch but it does show event that occurred, following that traffic stop, the moments of course leading up to walter scott's death and ground for murder charges against that officer who shot and killed him. again, we do want to warn thaw this video is extremely graphic that we're about to show you. bystander started rolling during the the confrontation between the white police officer and unarm black man. in it you can see 50 year-old walter scott running from the north of charleston officer three three-year old michael slagger. that is when he grabs his gun and fires at that man. we just heard eight shots before scott then falls to the ground and investigators say he radio toss police saying quote shots fired and the subject is down, he took my taser, end quote. he walks over and handcuffs scott in the same spot by the way that scott would later die. now his family is seeking justice and asking for prayers.

"eyewitness news" reporter nicole brewer joins with us that video and how officials are moving forward with this case nicole good morning. >> reporter: very disturbing video to show you here. three three-year old north charlton officer michael slagger is behind bars this morning facing death penalty or 30 years in prison after being charged with the murder of 50 year-old walter scott. we have video of the confrontation but we want to warn you it is extremely graphic. it was shot by a bystander shortly after scott was stopped for a broken taillight. you can see that man running away from the officer when slagger grabs his gun and fires. you can hear eight shots before that man falls to the ground. that is when investigators say slagger radios to police saying shots fired subject is down he took my taser. he walks over, handcuffs scott who later died where he laid. three days later mayor of north charleston calls it it a bad decision. >> when you are wrong you are wrong. if you make a bad decision don't care if you are behind the shield or just a citizen on the street. you have to live b

"eyewitness news" reporter nicole brewer joins us now with more on the investigation, nicole. >> reporter: justice department has launched that investigation to determine if any civil rights were violated in this case. meanwhile hundreds are taking to the streets of baltimore just to protest the the 25 year-old's mysterious death. there was a lot of raw emotion on tuesday as gray's family join community leaders and also demonstrators in the rally at the at where gray was a arrested april 12th. police say he and another man ran from officers when they approach them and video obtain by cbs baltimore station shows gray being carried in a van and then rehave moved and shackled. at the end of the 30 minute ride he was rush to the hospital and one week later died of significant spinal injury. police say they dent know what happened but protesters want the six office are involved to face charges. >> i want murder for all six of them because there was no history or record of him having any spinal injuries all six police officers can't say what happened, the mayor has acknowledged in the press tha
