and, tom, the nima momeni trial could be actually delayed, along with a lot of other court proceeding. right. that's right. and it's all because of the court clerks walking off the job. probably they say they're going to later today unless something happens in just the next couple of hours before the courts open. the union says that court management refuses to bargain in good faith over issues like staffing levels, hiring and training. they say it's already caused a backlog in cases and errors in some cases. now, 200 court clerks, members of the service, employees international union local 1021 say they will picket outside the courthouse beginning this morning at 830. they'll be outside the hall of justice on bryant street here in san francisco. these are workers who cover everything from juvenile to civil and criminal courts in the city. and that means everything from traffic violations to divorces, even murder trials like the nima momeni trial can't move forward. they say, without the support of these workers. and this comes at a crucial time in the trial of zenni, who is accused of

nima momeni is accused of stabbing bob lee to death in april of 2023. today, the defendant's mother watched from one side of the courtroom while the mother of bob lee's children sat on the other side of the courtroom. prosecutors laid out their case, saying momeni went into a rage after learning that his sister had been partying with bob lee and others. those prosecutors said they had video evidence showing the defendant and the victim leaving the suspect's sister's condo together shortly before bob lee wound up dead, and said dna evidence showed the defendant's dna on the handle of the knife that was used in this incident, and the victim's blood was on the blade. the defense attorney began making their arguments that this was a case of self-defense, and that the defense said that bob lee had only slept for six hours in a 91 hour piod because he was using cocaine. they say that it took it was lee who took a knife from the defendant's sister's home and attacked nima, and that momeni had every right to defend himself and stand his ground. >> i think it's
