annie mccormick is outside the accident investigation district in north philadelphia. good morning, annie. >> reporter: good morning, tamala, the 18-year-old suffered severe head trauma after he was hit by the vehicle and thrown into the air and handed on another vehicle before hitting the ground. he was transported to temple university hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. 911 calls flooded the 25th district around 9:00 p.m. with reports of a hit-and-run in the 3900 block of old york road. police found the 18-year-old on the ground. a short time later, only two blocks away in the 1300 block of west pike police found the stolen white prius they believe was the striking vehicle. it had heavy damage consistent with hitting someone. plus, surveillance video captured the vehicle hitting the young man. >>> we did not get a clear shot of who was driving the vehicle, however, people who live and work in the area say they see the vehicle on a regular basis. they know who drives the vehicle. she described a female as the person who normally drives that vehic
