as your alternate route to get northbound. i can see sky 9 is zooming out and heading up to show you the delay heading northbound. i believe it's going to affect the inner loop of the beltway very, very quickly. in fact, let me show you what it looks like live on the inner loop of the beltway from our traffic land camera coming up from river road right now. you will see delays form quickly trying to get up north to the spur. avoid that all together. let's go to the outer loop of the beltway. i want to tell you if you're heading through silver spring heading past 270, this will not affect your drive on the outer loop of the beltway past 270. in fact, if we could go back to the sky 9 shot on the northbound side of the 270 spur, once again just to let you know it is before montrose road. all lanes are blocked with this multivehicle accident, including a tractor-trailer. it's going to take some time before it clears up. we'll keep you posted on this situation coming up in my next report. back to you. >>> every morning metro riders

this is northbound 87 all the way past curtner.e roadway getting there is not so that's an additional slowdown, back to the map, 85 all the way up past capitol, curtner, downtown, we had speeds in the 20s. looks like speeds are in the 30s and 40s through most of the stretch. that's a lot of slowing, probably going to allow folks to kick to 101. we're seeing slowing from capital on 101 up past 680 and to the scene of another accident at de la cruz. that is moving off to the shoulder. no lanes are blocked. it's a distraction. it's a bad interchange to have a distraction. 101 meets with 87 and 880. that might put folks up 17 to get around that. but looks like if you stick with 87 you might be okay and allow extra 10 minutes, maybe 20 to be safe in case there is another accident. northbound 85 slowing through saratoga and in saratoga the wires down, and that might affect your drive over to 85. we're not clear what roadways are open so man on extra time or maybe head to the sunny veil on ramp to northbound 85. we're looking at the dubli
