a rain/snow mix possibly each northern delaware but temperatures in the 40s through new jersey and delawaree'll see mostly rain in those areas. best accumulation on grassy surface, 3:00 in the afternoon temperatures pretty well above freezing for most of the area, so at this point we would still be seeing rain with that wet snow mixed in. then clearing as we go into saturday night and getting colder for your sunday morning. freezing temperatures again, so we are going to see another freeze early sunday, if the you have sensitive plants, cover them up outside, if you can bring them in you might want to do that. as far as the snow is concerned for tomorrow, i don't think it's going to be a big deal. the best accumulations grassy accumulations, mainly melting on roads but there is a chance it could stick early. we'll have to watch that and temperatures closely. mainly rain for south jersey, closer to philadelphia, one inch or less, 1 to 2 through parts of the lehigh valley and the poconos. but it's not going to be a situation i think where we see very heavy snow. it's mostly going to be a mix

along the northeast extension of the turnpike and from chester county in to delaware county and northern delaware you are seeing some storms. none of these are severe except for this one moving into mercer county, new jersey right here, the others, just strong and gusty. biggest threat heavy rain and that could lead to major slow downs on the roads as rain pound against windshield and gusty wind. is there your strongest storm that has pushed out of bucks county and moving through portions of new jersey. temperatures right now temperature still warm enough to support storm formation. we are near 80 degrees. seventy-eight in philadelphia. seventy-seven in wilmington. by sunday these temperatures will be almost 35 to 40 degrees colder, as we see temperatures really plumet as we head in the weekend. let's break it down. we have an arctic active pattern. here are highlights. snow shower saturday night, high wind, worst of it, early sunday morning wind gusting to 50 or 60 miles an hour. sunday wind chills in the 20's and 30's. another snow shower monday night and then another cold, windy day on tuesday

to continue sliding west to east so delaware county seeing heavy rain but will continue into northern delaware and through the rest of south jersey. you notice another line of heavy rain through baltimore and down toward washington. that line of heavy rain is moving in this direction. so we will be seeing it near dover by about 7:00 and egg harbor closer to 7:45. we'll be watching that line the rest of the evening so we're not out of the woods yet. if you're in south jersey or parts of delaware and you haven't seen the rain yet it is on the wayne. so we'll see in the next few hours through the rest of the area. through the lehigh valley you're pretty much clearing out. it's part of a bigger storm system where the snow is affecting new england but that's going to stay up to the north. we're going to stay on the warmer side of this storm system, so really, just rain for us. but after the rain leaves we'll be getting a lot colder later on. this is future weather. the rain continues moving through by 8:00, it should mostly be in new jersey and delaware at that point. and then continuing to clear o

philadelphia area and up to trenton down to northern delaware may be an inch or less, that would be grassy accumulations. through the lehigh valley to the poconos maybe an inch or two. again it's that wet snow. so a little harder to accumulate some areas. tonight, though, cloudy and cold, 38 for the low in philadelphia, 32 areas north and west. so it is going to get cold tonight. but we're not going to see the arrival of the snow and rain before we go into tomorrow. starting early tomorrow that's when we'll see some of the precip move in. so as we go through the day tomorrow, the clouds will be here but the rain and snow could start as early as about 7, 8:00 in the morning. it is going to be a windy day too. winds could be gusting up to about 30 miles an hour, temperatures topping out from the upper 30s to low 40s. so windy and cold with those rain and snow showers around. areas along the shore you may just see rain but there are some areas in new jersey that could see a rain snow mix. we'll talk more about this coming up, what you can expect for the weekend and cold temperatures for sunda
