little bit so we're not seeing much additional precipitation right now until we get out into northern worcester county, southern new hampshire with patchy light freezing rain. with temperatures below freezing it is very icy out there right now. you can see the radar is beginning to quiet down but there is more moisture down to the south. there's also warmer air. as we go through the day, the temperatures will come up. in fact upper 40's to near 50 by noontime. and in the 50's this afternoon looking for a high of about 55 in boston. even 50's up into southern new hampshire but this morning it is very icy. we transition though during the afternoon to a period of heavy i think that rain is going to be heaviest between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. the icing will ease after 9:00 a.m. but damaging winds a possibility as this line of downpours comes through right during the evening commute so we have all sorts of weather concerns for you today. much more just ahead. let's get you out to those slipper erodes right now, olessa. it is a tough ride this morning. olessa: absolutely. two hands on the wheel. the exit and ent

think northern worcester county may see a little bit of this different than the last couple. it doesn't have the same punch and we don't expect the big thunderstorms and the cold air is not as deep so it's not going to stick around for as long. so the bottom line is during the overnight a little sleet and freezing rain is possible. by the time we wake up on wednesday morning i think everyone is above freezing so rain showers a few down pours on wednesday morning. and most of this is up until lunchtime. by lunch we are starting to dry out. so looks like a wet wednesday morning. a little bit of thunder and lightning is possible. not expecting severe weather like last time and drying out bringing in colder air on wednesday afternoon. next system we watch is a larger storm and it's a winter storm that's going to be snow on the northern end of it. right now it looks south of us. so not expecting a significant hit here in new-land at this time. but we are several days out and this is something we are going to monitor. and best chance of seeing some snowfall from this, would be the

the one area we'll watch tomorrow morning is northern worcester county and southwestern new hampshire. there could be a brief period with freezing rain. so something to keep close tabs on. from west to east as we head through the day. in southeastern massachusetts, it won't be until late in the afternoon. a lot of the day will be dry. as we approach the commute, look at where the rain is setting up. right across the boston area, along the pike, metro west. it should be a pretty slow go as we head through tomorrow night and very slowly, that rain will continue to press eastward, just starting to leave the cape and the islands on thursday morning. it is going to be a spring like rain. we're in the 40s for most of the day. our warmest temperatures tomorrow are actually in the evening and the first half of the overnight that's where they spike well up into the 50s. even well up into southern new hampshire. without any snow pack, there is not a lot of resistance for that warm air. nothing to hold it back tomorrow. as you look at the records, 57 in worcester. i think we'll come up just shor
