and here's the forecast for ocean city, they're farther south closer to that front, so there's a 50-50 chance that there could be a thunderstorm. but part of the day will be partly cloudy there, 85 the high. rain chances monday as well, they go down, and then a stronger front comes in tuesday, so along with us we have a fairly decent rain chance on tuesday even down at the ocean. here's our future cast, most of the rain is out of the area now. but on monday we could see a little burst of activity in the afternoon or evening. it's not a huge chance, but it's there. and we go into tuesday, that's when a fairly vigorous cold front comes in and we'll have a chance for some scattered shower and thunderstorm activity. if that cold front late tuesday into early wednesday that sets us up for some great weather. so look what happens here in the search-day forecast. a brief afternoon shower a possibility sunday. monday the rain chances dip pretty low. we'll be about 85 the high. then tuesday the rain chances go up, scattered showers and thunderstorms. less humid air, cooler air and dry, no rain

at ocean city we're talking a 30% chance of showers tomorrow. but probably will look a lot like today, just kind of cloudy and dry for most of the day before the showers pop up in the evening. then scattered showers and thunderstorms on sunday and monday. out of the tropical atlanta we've been watching this area of low pressure move its way westbound, but look how it's weakened, just spotty thunderstorms associated with it. so it's now just a tropical depression with winds down to 35 miles per hour. expect it to remain relatively weak as it heads up interest the central part of the atlantic. this area of low pressure that's generating numerous showers and storms in the far southern part of the gulf of next companies a little more important perhaps. the storms are developing on the northeastern quadrant of it, the circulation is down here and it may become a tropical storm as it heads toward perhaps the texas gulf coast next week, we'll have to watch that one. 79, increasing clouds tomorrow. scattered showers and cooler than normal temperatures s

i know the big race coming up down at ocean city there sunday morning. upper 70s now. winds from the south. humidity continues to crank up to peak season levels. it may be cooler than average for early august but it's every bit as humid and more humid than normal as we go in to the day tomorrow. all that moisture will be squeezed out as rain at some point, we think late in the afternoon as things get a little more unstable atmospherically and tomorrow. things will ramp up toward 5:00, 6:00. could impact the bel air barbecue fest tomorrow evening. i'll be out there for that. we could be dodging raindrops to say the least but i think things will improve through the night. take a look at the setup across the region. very active now. not going to be any different tomorrow. unsettled, wet, gray. we've seen it all week and more of it. you do get sick of it, i'll be honest. i'm a little sick of it myself. front continues to come south. steamy warm conditions. there's an improvement in the forecast in this one sense since 24 hours ago. we think our front will stall out toward
