they've had one constant throughout this chaos, their manager phil parkinson. the news that he and his assistant steve parkin had quit. well today, he's told us, it was the right time to go. it was a tough call but i feel it is the right decision for myself and steve to move on. we wish the club all the best. the players and the staff not getting paid, the environment, employees go, five months without receiving wages, it can be very tough, and managing that situation is certainly a learning curve for myself. i think that is the hardest part of the job. the lads have been terrific. the professionals we have had have been excellent in terms of their professionalism and helping the young players which has been really important and everybody is looking forward to moving on. the club looking for a brighterfuture. for all the people at bolton the football club is so important, such an important part of the community, and i hope that brighter times are around the corner, and the supporters deserve a lot of credit in terms of playing their part in helping the takeover
