paul merrill has the latest on the investigation. state police escort the trailer from last night's hayride accident away from the scene late sunday morning. sergeant joel davis the state fire marshal's office says it appears that the jeep that was towing the trailer had some sort of mechathat preventem stopping. it was about 8:30 saturday night when the ride went off the road and hit a tree. the crash happened in a heavily wooded area and seriously hurt both pumpkin land workers and ride patrons. >> "we're talking broken bones, broken leg bones, femur bones, broken backs, shoulder injuries, ankle injuries, scrapes, cuts, head injuries." a 17-year-old girl from maine who was riding the hayride was flown to maine med where she died overnight. two other victims were flown to central maine medical center in lewiston. event spokesman scott lansley says those two victims were workers on the ride. lansley says the man driving the jeep is an experienced and licensed truck driver. he's already out of the hospital. the ride narrator is expected to be released later today. investigators tell us the victims range in age from about ten to 50 years old. >> "i can tell you
