an update from pg&e as crews w work to rtore that power. good evening.see here in the bay area. a tornado touching down in the santa cruz mountains, tossing cars and debris across scotts valley. oh my god. okay. oh my god. oh my god no. that is video showing what it was like driving through those winds as it ripped through the area. the national weather service confirming it was an ef one tornado, bringing winds upwards of 90mph. the powerful winds from the storm triggered the first ever tornado warning in san francisco. now no tornado's actually formed, but there was plenty to clean up. you can see it right there. this is the aftermath in golden gate park. huge trees ripped from the ground even without a tornado. the gusty winds gave people plenty to worry about. i went upstairs, far from the window, and the wind was so intense. crews had a very busy day cleaning up trees and fixing power lines across the city. and we've got team coverage on this storm. cinthia pimentel has more on the conditions that led to this tornado. but let's start with marianne f
