i'm janelle wang in for jessica aguirre, and i'm raj mathai. one of the biggest storms to hit the bay area. we are in a microclimate weather alert. >> multiple reports with key information. let's begin with chief meteorologist jeff ranieri. >> the stream of moisture tracking, continues to aim here at california. most of the coastline starting to see the rainfall develop. all about this atmospheric river that looks like it could stay in place for about a three-day period, again, helping to boost our rainfall totals. we will zoom in, get a look. definitely looks a lot worse that in is at least right now. mainly light rainfall. things will start to pick up the way we see it by 7:00 tomorrow morning with areas of heavier rainfall for the north bay, san francisco, the east bay, and possibly for the south bay. now, as this storm rolls in, it tea going to heighten our flooding threat. by sunday night. that's what i want everybody to understand. bottom line on this. river flooding highest by sunday night, early monday. here are the rivers we are watchi

raj mathai is heading to washington, d.c., to lead our coverage. it's not just for friday's inauguration. we'll be covering the women's march on washington the following day. >>> the gunman who opened fire on a highway in concord is still on the loose. the shooting happened about 5:00 yesterday evening on state route 242 near highway 4. the driver of this black mercedes sedan was injured in the shooting. as you can see, several bullets hit the car and a passenger was detained but police say he would not cooperate with their investigation. this is just the latest in a string of highway shootings in the same area. emeryville police are looking for the gunman who shot two people at the popular bay street shopping center last night. the two victims were shot near christy avenue and shell mound street. it was just after 9:30 on saturday night. the victims, who were found in different parts of the mall, are both in stable condition. >>> kris, new details right now on a deadly nightclub shooting at a nightclub in mexico. it happened in the popular resort
