this is an accident on the schuylkill expressway.stbound approaching belmont we have an vehicle that flipped over. we have ambulances on the scene, fire trucks and penndot on the scene, the last time i showed you the shot we see a police officer now we see the emergency workers coming out dealing with the accident. there you can see penndot has the arrow board set up as well. one lane getting by on the schuylkill expressway eastbound. you have the weather impacting the roads. you have closures and restrictions related to the democratic national convention today. unlike the you people visit the highway -- the papal visit, the highways are open. if you're traveling around the sports complex, we have packer, pattison shut down, south darian, fdr park local streets around there. on i-95, if you're traveling a commercial vehicle we're watching the shots where we can see the police checking only allowing the passenger vehicles no commercial vehicles over five tons on i-95 that's all the way from the platt bridge up to the vine. everybody w

we have an accident organic the schuylkill expressway involving an -- an accident on the schuylkill expresswayound involving an overturned vehicle approaching belmont. this is a shot where we saw the sky lighting up. we have hundreds of lightning strikes with the strong and severe thunderstorms moving through. the other issue this morning is the new restrictions we have in place this week for the the democratic national convention. so if you're traveling in a commercial vehicle over five tons that's the biggest impact. you can't travel on i-95 between the vine and the platt bridge. that's open to regular vehicles, but commercial vehicles over five tons you can't travel on i-95. that means the vehicles will be on the schuylkill expressway or the vine we'll see extra congestion because of that today. the ramble from the schuylkill expressway eastbound to packer avenue shut down from 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., the ramp from i-95 to broadly street shut down northbound and southbound is allowed at times. speaking of i-95 i want to show you an accident scene that shows you the conditions we have today.

for those that take the vine we had work between schuylkill and broad. we are seeing right the now, hopefully we will open within the next 15 minutes or so. it usually does. i-95 off ramp to cottman has reopened. it was closed for overnight construction, a lot of overnight construction just now getting pushed out of our way. we have our first accident of the morning, very hard to see in this shot, you cannot see it, we will were seeing flashing lights but it just looks black. 422 ease pound off ramp to 202 and schuylkill pull off to the shoulder but that is now just getting cleared out of the way. speaking of 422, construction eastbound between oaks and first avenue that right lane compromised because of that construction. the it is still out there look at this pennsylvania turnpike eastbound between new jersey turnpike connection bridge that right lane is blocked. of course, i'll let you know as we go through the morning as it cleared. and, that right lane is also blocked, jim, over to you. >>> temple university has taken the first step to fire its pres
