we are expecting a lot of unhappy passengers here at sfo. it is because of construction work on runway 28o. it is at the wrap up until the end of the month. as of sunday night, here are the numbers we got from sfo. st. 358 flights were delayed. 137 have been canceled. the reason why, construction of one of the runways started at 12:01 saturday morning. it will continue until september 27. work crews are reconstructed the base layer of the runway. where it intersects with two other runways. sfo says, it is the busiest section of the runway system at the airport and it is showing signs of fatigue. it needs to be addressed. the website says people are experiencing an average 4 our delay. we spoke with some of those passengers. >> for me, it is frustrating. i do not deal with change well. >> it is horrible. you sit on a plane for an hour. with little information. >> reporter: the delays are impacting international travelers the most. what they miss the connection, have to make overnight accommodations until the next batch of flights heads out in
