by the age of 33, snider had mortgaged his home to create the flyers. but his vision for sports in philadelphia wouldn't stop there. in the early 1990s he worked with the city and the business community to build what is today known as the wells fargo center. the flyers said funeral services will be private, but there will be a public remembrance ceremony at the wells fargo center in the near future to celebrate snider's life. as you may know by now ed snider was fighting bladder cancer for the last two years. we spoke with a doctor of mercy fitzgerald hospital about the disease. he said there are often no symptoms, but there are some things that you should look for. >> you could have pain, you could have problems urinating. you can have some discomfort as well. you can have some irritation of the pelvis. but by far and away it's bleeding that is the first sign. >> the doctor tells us smoking is one possible cause of bladder cancer. right now there is no test for the disease. ed snider and comcast had a strong 20-year partnership. comcast is the parent c
