the red flag warning still highlighting parts of solano county. most of the rest of the high winds and high fire danger will be to the east of us. we're looking at some of these areas that are going to be dealing with not only high winds, but extremely low humidity. this shows the relative humidity as we go into today. it's not going to be as dry. you can see some of those relative humidity numbers at 15% or less as we go into the middle of the day. then it starts to come up a little bit more as we go into tonight and early tomorrow morning. temperature wise, we're headed for the mid 70s today, so this is going to feel warmer than we've seen recently. we're up to 80 today in antioch and oakland reaching 72, 64 in daley city. north bay highs reaching up to 78 degrees in sonoma and ukiah. still pretty comfortable. looking ahead, we are going to see a lot of dry weather, but once again, our temperature still changing. going into next week, we watch a storm system approving, a couple of waves of rain reaching into far northern california and weakening

we want to zero in on his solano county. this is where all the ingredients will be at their highest. that starts at 10:00 this morning and goes through 8:00 this evening. red flag warning, the dry air is bring us a ton of sunshine. temperatures in the 40's, 60's at the coast. mid 70's to near 80 for the rest of us and even hotter weather on the way. right now -- reggie: right now, new round of public safety power shut off. it could cut the power steering a few hours ago because of dangerous fire conditions. that covers about 4900 bay area customers. that is nearly 1400 and solano county and 144 in sonoma county. heavy winds are expected to continue in santa barbara county this morning, hindering the fight. flames have scorched more than 15,000 acres over the past few days. highway 101 remains closed. a firefighter was injured, but the expected to recover. at least four buildings have been destroyed. the fire only 5% contained. the area burning right now has not experienced a fire and more than 65 years. you can keep track of

solano county as well as much of the sacramento valley. this is not the widespread event we had to start the week but still the winds picking up in high fire danger causing a lot of concerns. this as the winds are coming in from the north through the central valley, funnel through the delta, and our hour by hour wind speed forecast shows the winds could get pretty strong even in some of our north bay hills. with very low humidity and high winds, any fires that get started especially in the extremely dry vegetation could spread very rapidly. as we go into this evening the winds will start to calm down. a lot of us in the valleys will not feel those high winds but this is definitely a localized event that will cause some high concerns. i'm keeping a close eye on fairfield and some of the sensors there right now. winds in about 15 miles per hour and today temperatures will be slightly warmer heading up close to 80 degrees. we'll talk about more warming in our forecast and also more changes ahead coming up in a few minutes. >> thanks, kari. so
