looking at stormscan 3 if you look up in the sky you'd hardly notice that there is a major storm sitting really just sitting offshore stalled outright post tropical storm hermine incredibly powerful system wind speeds upwards of 70 miles an hour, as forward motion is basically nil. it's so atypical at this latitude. through the day tomorrow, but still, the projected path a bit farther east and models were saying over of the last several days improvements with the models coming in. heavy rain stays offshore. the wind forecast has been lessened. we still could see wind gusts possible of about 40, 45 miles an hour as we head into tonight and through tomorrow. we still do have a concern for coastal flooding. that threat for major coastal flooding has been minimized. some of our storm threats proceeding into labor day. coastal flooding. heavy rain was not going to be a rain threat. beach erosion very high. and rip current extremely high. ocean is not the place to be because of the rough surf and the dangerous rip currents. we'll talk about what more to expect from hermine as we head into the
