lake tahoe is clear just a few little clouds off in the distance. as we wait for official sunrise, this is sure to put on a nice glow of beautiful colors. today cloudy to start off. but pretty much widespread sunshine we'll see throughout san francisco and beyond. 50s and 60s right now. the heat will be on inland. mid-90s concord and livermore. here's why. we don't have much wind going on. it's calm. it's an onshore breeze. but it's minimal, less than 10 miles per hour for most spots except for the usual windy spot in fairfield at 18. but that onshore breeze of course helps bring in that cooler air and unfortunately today, tomorrow, even well into next week we are not going to get much of it. for now we have higher elevation clouds up higher in the levels of atmosphere. once they burn off we'll see sunshine but we're also looking at moderate air quality today so it may be hazy. back to you guys. >>> all over the world music lovers are paying tribute to the "queen of soul." aretha franklin passed away yesterday at the age of 76. john schiumo shows us
