it's going to go to the clinton foundation. so also it raises questions about, you know, what was going on in terms of all these paid speeches coming in under the umbrella of oh, it's for charity but also, the co-mingling of state department aides dealing with the clinton foundation and the speeches. what hillary clinton argued to me when i asked her though in fairness, she was saying well, the state department was involved because there was a process set up where they would see whether there was a conflict with any of her work as secretary of state. i think the very bottom line is, it just shows with this, with the uma abidine conflict of interest question. the interweb, the ties, the overlapping roles, the clinton foundation, the charity, the presidential campaign that was upcoming. the private consulting company that uma abidine was also working for. and, on top of that the state department, in official government business that uma abidine was doing while being paid by us, by the taxpayers and while hillary clinton was secret

we start with big news out of the hillary clinton camp. the former secretary of state has agreed to turn over her private e-mail server to the justice department according to her campaign. clinton's e-mails have been a major source of controversy from political rivals and the congressional committee investigating besz. cnn's senior washington correspondent jeff zeleny is here with me. this is a server that was in her home is she durning over anything helelse? >> it was in chappaqua, new york, when she was first becoming secretary of state. her advisors said she should have a private e-mail server. so she's turning that over and she's turned over a flash drive that has copies of all these other e-mails she had. this is something her attorney has been holding on to. it's something that have been so reluctant to surrender. we saw her say at the u.n. at this press conference in march 10, we both were there and she said "i am not turning over this private server." well, a lot has happened since then which led us to this point right now. >> we ma

then the democratic front-runner hillary clinton she also spoke at the event. y clinton had two major speeches both in florida today. one of them at florida international university, she gave a serious speech about cuba, kind of a hard edge speech on an issue that is more controversial in florida than anywhere in the country. she said that congress should follow up president obama's overtures to normalize relations with cuba by passing a law to get rid of the american trade embargo on cuba. part of the reason the speech was a big deal for secretary clinton, that proposal is a big deal from her, is because it was the clinton administration it was her husband, president bill clinton, who signed that law sha she now wants congress to undo. he signed the bill that put the cuba embargo into u.s. law and made it something that congress has to overtly repeal if it's going to go away. today, hillary clinton said congress should repeal that law which she supported and which her husband signed. so really interesting proposal and that was a serious speech. and secretary cl
