several marin county agencies responded to the fire near the marina in richardson bay. 37-year-old victim apparently lives on the boat. she was taken to marin general for treatment. the 25-foot sailboat was a total loss. >>> first responders in oakland have recovered a body from a steep hillside where a car went down an embankment. paul chambers tells us that the car went off grizzly peak boulevard and came to a stop about 400 feet below the road. >> reporter: it's been closed for more than 7 hours as police investigate a car that went over an embankment. it wasn't the original reason crews were dispatched to the area. >> this morning about 9 a.m. we had officers respond to grizzly peak area following up on a missing person. while they were in the area, they observed a vehicle down the embankment. >> reporter: since that time, oakland fire crews and paramedics worked the area trying to locate the car, which we were told was about 400 feet down. >> oakland fire department responded. they checked the vehicle. they didn't find anyone inside the vehicle. >> reporter: later s

i've lived here in the marina since 1990, and i wam a wonderful supporter of angela alioto, and we've been working with angela, we've known her since the -- since 2007, when she began something called the knights of st. francis. and through our humanitarian work, we totally saw angela's vision to help the poor and the underprivileged in san francisco and around the world, and she was wonderful. she's a wonderful speaker and representative for st. francis, and the name sake of our beautiful city. thanks to angela, i've been -- and her efforts through the knights of st. francis, i've been able to see appropriate franc -- pope francis three times and was invited to speak at the vatican in january . she is a champion for so many of the poor and disenfranchised. i'm here today because had we known that we had march the 27th, i would have spent the entire day calling people for money and asking their support because i'm really -- feel privileged to be on her finance committee. that makes a big difference, but i just really want to commend you, miss pelham, today, and sharing an issue with y
