meteorologist, topper shutt joins us from the weather center. where is all that rain coming from? >> they have a frontal system that won't move and they have had 12 inches of rain. you get that much rain and you are talking about a significant amount of your annual average. flooding has continued and the problem is, we have so much rain in such a large area over north georgia, over eastern tennessee and western north carolina and it is all going to drain into the various rivers and creeks and lakes and it will take a long time to go down. you can see that road is almost under water. almost completely under water, some of the buildings. we are talking 10 feet of water. this isn't like a flash flood. it's not going to go away any time soon. let me show you radar. there's more showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. in fact, there's another front to the west that has to go through. right now in atlanta, it's not raining because there's a lot of rain off to the east and west. it's a matter of time before more thunderstorms develop there and we will keep you posted on that. we might
