this is no isabel. a lot of peel who have been here equate most storms to that when you deal with a tropical system. it was insane yesterday because we had a lot of potential tornadoes and lines of severe thunderstorms that rolled up and really a lot of the target zone was around st. mary's and calvert counties and areas that got the most rain were right up the line up the chesapeake bay. a lot of the heaviest rain fell over the bay yesterday. again the heavy rain from five to eight inches. john will have the specific numbers but i can tell you a new record at the airport of six inches of rainfall with torrential downpours remnants of nicole and before that a stalled frontal boundary and it sucked in all of that atlantic moisture with tropical moisture. this morning we have light drizzle, cloud cover around we have brisk northwest winds picking up. normally i complain about the wind because i don't like it but it is good because it will dry us out and we will see a nice weekend and cooler weekends as we
