nick foley is live with us this morning. nick, how do these numbers breakdown? >> reporter: those are starting the numbers to say the least -- startling least. anyone will -- with a college education will earn far more in a lifetime than just someone with a high school diploma but these numbers just show you how difficult it could be for parents with young kids to get themselves or they are kids through college. the average tuition of a university or college for your plan, tuition and fees, per year for an in-state student is a little over $9000 per year. year schools are even lower. now consider the average of childcare. that is $11,000 a year. for an average family with a household income of about $50,000 you are talking nearly 1/5 of that family's yearly in come for one kid in childcare. there are several bills already introduced in the ohio statehouse to raise the state minimum wage $2-$10 and $.10 an hour. we have to wait and on those but these wages are not going up as fast as these child care cost are.>>> right now the cleveland police department is in th

the morning sprint continues with nick foley.>> reporter: the norton community still in shock, understandably this morning, on the heels of a 16- year-old's death after he was struck by school bus. officials are starting to arrive this morning on the heels of this horrible tragedy. an investigation into this accident continues as police looks at surveillance video and the accident happened shortly after classes let out. the bus was filled with eighth-graders from the middle school when it happened. police say the accident happened when the boy fell off his skateboard and was struck by the bus. investigators are not releasing the student's identity although classmates and community members know who he is. you are taking a look at the makeshift memorial on the norton high school sign where we saw a mother and 2 students placing something on that memorial in student killed here yesterday in the accident. counselors will be here on school property today. they are to help with students grieving from this tragedy. >>> it has been almost 2 years, but the cleveland officers involved in anderson's dea
