let's get straight to the traffic, vianey has been tracking that. two signature alerts. >> in the tri-valley. if that's your morning commute, you need to listen up, we're dealing with heavy delays. i want to get to the first crash right now and this is along 580 at eden and this is right along over -- eden canyon road. there was an overturned semi that had all lanes blocked and now it appears all lanes are open except for the left lane. they were working to clear out that debris but even though we are still seeing heavy delays backed up and unfortunately your alternate route which is typically southbound 680, that's where we're seeing the second sigalert. this is along sheridan road. lanes do remain blocked. this is a multivehicle accident involving four vehicles. one spun out and another one is fully engulfed in flames. we do have some shots from the scene. first i do want to take you to 580 where you can see the heavy delays still from the ground. this is the earlier crash involving that semi. they did clear that out but you can see how heavy the

vianey arana is tracking the delays still being felt. but first let )s go live to nbc bay area )s roz plater. she )s on 680 slowdown. we have team coverage on this crash. vianey is tracking the dehails first live felt butun to ros plater live on sunol. >> i am. and the first pete piece of good news this morning is that the traffic is flowing again. that happened within the last hour or so. but it was earlier, a traffic nightmare and it was the second nightmare of the morning. the first one started around 4:45 this morning on westbound 580 near eden cannon, involving a big rig and two other vehicles in a crash and the chp said all three collided and get tangled up during a lane change and it sent the big rig tumbling on to the side backing up the morning commute traffic for miles along that freeway. then just about 15 minutes later there was another crash. this time on southbound 680 near sheridan road. the chp said it appears a car rear-ended a big rig and sparking a fire and there was a chain reaction involving multiple cars and that al

vianey has the latest on the impact for drivers. >> unfortunately now in addition to those two sigalerts can see from the accidents in the tri-valley now one that popped up just between the interchange of 680 and 580, appears to be a minor fender bender. but you can see the delays from the southbound 680 side now tapping into the 580 traffic. we still got several lanes blocked and we are seeing several accidents with that 84. that the only alternate route. drive times from southbound 680 to vargas ride, road over an hour and a half. >> wow, you want to make sure you plan for that. as we make plans for the weekend, we're going to have nice weather, low 60s for san francisco today for the high. oakland up to 69 degrees there and 79 in napa. san jose 80 for antioch and concord. it's going to be a nice weekend with a lot of sunshine we're going to see highs for the inland valleys in the upper 70s in time for father's day, early next week, heating up highs up to 90 degrees on wednesday. and san francisco morning clouds and fog and 60s throughout much of the forecast. >> another update in half
