getting into south by southwest as a documentary filmmaker, that is a big deal. that's a big deal. rob joins us now with a look at the weather. yeah, it's been kind of a chilly wrap up to the weekend. we had some showers early in the day, but now when you factor in the wind speed and the highs we had today, not really feeling much like we're getting closer to spring, in fact. san francisco, the high today was 55 degrees. averages should be in the low to mid 60s. just three days ago we were in the 60s and 70 for highs. but all that is gone now as the winds continue. most of the showers have moved out. we'll take a look at that on our storm ranger radar in a moment. right now, 52, in san jose. northwest wind at 13mph. we're seeing 53 in walnut creek. wind gusts at times over 30mph, and a brisk 49 degrees in san rafael. and that wind northwest at 20. you'll certainly want a thicker coat if you're heading out this evening. and there's the view in san francisco. partly cloudy skies, 51 degrees, and wind speeds at times above 40mph. now let's head up to south lake tahoe. it's cold there,

if you go down to south by southwest, you can pick up a house there. two quick questions.tate commission rules changed last year. originally, people thought, oh, my gosh, they're going to plummet.. what are you seeing? >> i feel a little silly about it, because i was one of the people who thought commissions could come down as a result of this all change. it was a fairly seismic change that buyers now have to decide how much to pay their own agent. and in the fall of 2024, there was no change whatsoever. i would say that this home-buying season there has been some change because in the coastal markets where people are buying 2-3 million homes, especially if they're buying it with cash, they are not willing to pay an agent 3%. and so that is where we see the most price compression. that is where we see fees being negotiated most aggressively in a way that just wasn't that common common a year ago. show it hasn't happened nation wide, but it is happening in places especially at the high end with more educated, empoweredded buyers. jack: understandable. we have to go, but i d
