some widespread rain over the bay area by tuesday night. ossible for our higher elevations in the north bay. maybe down to 2,000 feet. for the sierra, widespread snow from yosemite right up towards south lake tahoe. here's how i played it out on my extended forecast. we'll go down to 53 on tuesday. that will be the best chance of some widespread rain and a half inch possible. after that, some spotty rain chances on wednesday, also into thanksgiving, and we'll begin to try to dry out once we hit friday's forecast. look at the inland valleys from 70 on sunday down to 50 here on wednesday. 52 on thanksgiving. morning lows in the 30s. cold here, even colder in the sierra. once you get up there, it will be good, but traveling will be treacherous on tuesday night and wednesday. snow levels, 1,500 feet. and we are looking at totals anywhere from two inches near 1,500, 2,000 feet, to maybe 20 inches at the summit. so it's just what we've been asking for, but like in true california standard, it's either nothing or all at once. >> that's what we're u
