for berks county, western and central chester county, montgomery county and even a little clip of berks county, 70 miles an hour winds, 1 inch hail even possible with these storms as they blast through. in addition a flash flood warning where we've seen a few inches of rain already in and around reading and most of berks county so again if you encounter any water on the road turn around. these heat indices are well over 100. philadelphia, millville and dover, so these storms are not going to weaken. they will hold together as they move through the delaware valley and eventually to the shore. satellite and radar this is a cold front coming through which opens up the door to nicer weather. there could be some pop-ups ahead of the storm in south jersey but the main line pushes to the shore around 8, 9 o'clock tonight, southern parts of delaware and then it's long gone and by midnight even some of those clouds trying to move on out. the humidity over the weekend will be dropping as well. how it's going to feel, dewpoints which are now near 80 in spots, will be back between 60 and 65, just s

berks county getting the rain now.ing increased clouds across philadelphia blocking the skyline up in easton still seeing a lot of sunshine. so it is just fairly isolated and you can see these storms just coming in to the edge of berks county. you think it's just on top of redding but take quite a while to get there because it's moving at 10 to 15 miles per hour. 6:43 to redding. 7:04 at exitor. the storms to the south near chesapeake bay and baltimore, they're not moving this direction. they're stationary causing flooding down there. now, we've got a first alertd. two first alerts, actually. one for the heat and humidity combination. that's for the southern half of the area, philadelphia southward except for the beaches. 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. tomorrow. mid-90s. high humidity making it feel like 100 to 105. a second one for potentially severe storms. in the pennsylvania counties. further north and west. closer to where a cold front comes because it's coming through here in the middle of the night. so the farther toward the

lehigh valley, berks county are starting to clear a bit. the sun trying to break through the clouds. this will turn into a very nice day ahead. we just have to get rid of the rest of the rain that really pounded us overnight. so we're starting to look at philadelphia, into del co and we have spotty showers out there like in east white land, norristown and abington. sprinkles still falling across parts of the suburbs. that continues as we stretch into burlington county, too. even up to trenton and mercer, looking at light to steady rain falling. the heaviest rain now sits along the shore line, so ship bottom down to beach haven right to atlantic city and ocean city, you do see some of the more steady rain and heavy rain falling. because most of this has been moving pretty quickly from west to east, a lot of us won't see massive rain totals, but because it fell so heavily so fast, there may have been washout moments while it was moving through. most of the rain is off to sea by 6:00 a.m. as we go to 6:30, even more so moving out. and then it

skies darkening up as we look toward kutztown gaw we have storm activity moving into parts of the berks county right now and poconos. seeing themselves just up win moving their way eastbound toward carbon and monroe counties. we have this particularly potent cell impacting portions of western and now starting to move into central berks county light rain coming down ahead of the cell in the reading area but we will get rumbles of thunder in the bernville area and this will continue to move east and potentially contain hail so head up for that cell in berks county. as we head in the overnight period though other storm threat comes to an end and see a hit or miss storm, otherwise quiet conditions, warm, muggy only falling back down to 75. that ac will be chugging tomorrow hot and humid up to 93 degrees, mix of sun and cloud late day thunderstorm possible best storm chance will come tomorrow night. heat advisory has been issued by national weather service for philadelphia and surrounding counties, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. curing that prime heating of the day. high temperatures will be cruising
