we'll get a look at the forecast with christina loren coming up. >> 6:45.er penn state football coach jerry sandusky is under way this morning. describes live in bellefonte, pennsylvania with the latest for us. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, laura. we have been informed by the court here that the trial has indeed begun. jerry sandusky, the former assistant coach at penn state is charged with 52 counts of child molestation. prosecutors are expected to bring eight alleged victims to the stand to testify, perhaps as early as today. that will begin. sandusky is accused of molesting ten children over the period of 15 years. prosecutors expect to go with some of their strongest evidence in one victim called victim number 4, he is expected to testify perhaps as early as today that sandusky molested him more than 50 times and tried to buy his silence with gifts. the defense for its part has been saying since december that they are looking into the backgrounds of these former children who are going to testify against sandusky looking into a possible motive
