i am dion lim. we are feeling the heat for a second consecutive weekend and taking a live look outside you can see it does look sunny and bright but spencer christian is standing by with a look at the hotspots and how long does he will last. >> the good news is it will not last much longer. the bad news is it is pretty intense right now. here is our current temperature. we have widespread triple digit temperatures. up in the cloverdale. very hot in our inland areas and that heat advisory that the unmeasured early will be in effect until 11:00 tonight for all of these areas that includes the north bay interior mountains, the east bay interior valleys, the east bay hills and now -- and eastern santa clara the mountains. and the risk of illness has increased under conditions like this. if there is any good news about fire dangers, is that our fire danger index is only low to moderate right now and that will get better as the cooling kicks in tomorrow. i will have more details later. >> firefighters say

. >> and i'm dion lim. as of this morning all of the phone lines are restored but it admits work is being done on its automatic dispatching system. >> anser hassan has the latest. anser: oakland announced a power outage impacted 911 calls to its emergency call center. >> we think about the basic human needs. anser: nina opened bar and ran for city council last year. she is concerned a basic feature of public safety is at risk >> i think that is hard for the residents who need them. it is traumatic summit is not coming. anser: the city says it took 10 minutes to restore caller access by routing 911 calls to the alameda county sheriff's office. as of friday morning all lines are restored and calls can get in. the automated dispatching system is still being fixed. the issue comes after an alameda grand jury reported major concerns at oakland's emergency commute occasions center. it claims the 911 call center is not prepared for a major disaster. it also states there is not enough staff to answer all 911 calls
