first one, hurricane ignacio. a powerful one, winds up to 140 miles per hour. it is going to just miss the island and passing to the north. we are expecting heavy rain for the island and wind gusts, but not taking the brunt of the storm system as it takes off to the north. it will start to weaken. the other we are watching, hurricane jimena, winds up to 130 miles per hour. expected to take a similar path as ignacio, but notice as it gets closer to the island chain, it will weaken to category two. very close for the hawaiian islands. if traveling there next weekend, you could run into some treacherous weather, especially if the track does change. look at the temperatures for the next couple days. 85 for san jose today. look at this, heading to tuesday, wednesday, thursday, a 10 degree drop. you need jackets to get the kids ready. 74 by wednesday and thursday, even for east bay valleys. temperatures are not as high. temperatures are closer to 80 degrees. cooling off this upcoming week. get the fall jackets ready. back to you. >> ocean air conditioning taking effe

of course we had kilo, ignacio and jimena. right now it's ignacio which is the closest to hawaii but the latest projection with this storm stays mostly off to the north of hawaii. so if you have family or travel plans out toward hawaii, may see some wind and some rain at times in maui and the big island. but that storm, at least the focus of the hurricane-force winds will be staying just offshore. for the west coast got this trough of low pressure which looks a little bit more like early october, had a lot of damage from that wind in the pacific northwest. reinforcing that onshore breeze for the weekend. and this pattern's going to stick around as we get through the middle part of the week. in fact what it will likely do is kind of supersize the marine layer and bring in some low clouds and drizzle at times, especially as we get toward tuesday and wednesday mornings could have some light rain out on the coast and drizzle. once again as we head toward another part of the week. for tomorrow morning lows in the low 60s. some area
