i do think the larger issue for me is i think some of the things that jacqui was reporting on. democrats need to take a step back. we are out of touch with where the majority of the country wants to go. some of the criticism being levelled at president trump is unwarranted. the notion of our democracy is dead or the democracy is dormant or the democracy in disrepair. those conversations should stop. we seem now to be a party more interested in entertaining than engaging. we have the biggest entertainers and actors say things and really rallies the elites in our party. if we want sustainable solutions to housing and education shortcomings, cultural im positions we're placing on people, we have to think about that and get serious about a new message there before we think about our messaging. we don't have a purpose right now. this is something that we can gather. it's right to say that she got in the race at a short period of time. maybe she chose the wrong v.p. that all may be true. we still should have run a campaign with a purpose. with a message. that's what i take from this.
