this is from a kpix 5 viewer. if you listen closely you can hear the crackling as the flames rage through the building on fulton street. more than a dozen people were forced out of their homes in the area because of the fire and smoke damage. as intense as it was, everybody made it out with no major injuries. the cause of the fire still a mystery. >>> we're still learning new details about a man murdered in san leandro. police say the victim was a bishop and community leader from a menlo park church. early friday morning a neighbor called police saying she heard him yelling that he didn't want to die. he was stabbed to death in his own home allegedly at the hands of his son. police identified the victim as 54-year-old temen bostick and when officers arrived to his home friday morning, they found his son, 21-year-old isaiah bostick covered in blood. they arrested him on the spot. neighbors say they are shocked. >> he's a very nice guy. very happy with his kids. so i don't understand exactly what happened. >> isaiah

kpix 5 got an exclusive look at the tsa's security plans.y say they will be adding dozens of dogs at both sfo and san jose's mineta airport. in the train stations above and underground, bart, vta and muni riders should expect to see an increased k-9 presence over the next five days. the atf is using trained detection dogs to search vehicles and abandoned backs packs. >> our dogs have trained to check 19,000 explosives as well as firearms, shell casings and ammo. >> reporter: with 20 to 40 times more receptors in their noses, dogs are much more efficient than human cops at sniffing out trouble. it's not just a superior sense of smell. it's incredible volume of work they are able to accomplish. >> we are checking vehicles out here. if you open up a delivery truck and it has a stack of boxes, are you going to open them all? >> reporter: a dog smells right through. they never complain and don't want overtime. >> they don't complain, don't want overtime but they love kibble and a nice tummy rub once in a while. that's all it takes. >> reporter: j
